A fresh approach to mental wellbeing
What is the thrive programme for individuals?
The Thrive Programme is a life-changing, evidence-based training program that empowers you with the skills, insights and resources in order to take control of your life, overcome any symptoms or problems you have, and thrive!
Here are just a few of the problems The Thrive Programme can help you overcome:
- Stress/anxieties (unhealthy stress, social anxiety, low self-confidence)
- Fears/phobias (panic attacks, emetophobia being a fear of vomiting).
No matter who you are, where you are from, or what your past is, everyone has the ability to realise their potential and live life to the fullest. Stress, anxiety, low self-confidence and self-doubt will become a thing of the past, permanently replaced with a desire and capability to thrive.
The Thrive Programme is suitable for all. If you feel that life is merely ticking over for you The Thrive Programme will enable you to master the skills and resources you need so that you won’t get anxious, stressed or depressed regardless of what bumps in the road you encounter.
Is it simply a "self-help" course?
No, absolutely not. This programme is based on scientific evidence, research, and 30,000 hours of face-to-face client experience from the programme’s creator/author Rob Kelly. Rob is a psychotherapist, lecturer, and author. His uniquely insightful understanding of people has been attained over his 25 years in clinical practice. His experience and research has led to an exceptional level of understanding of people’s problems, symptoms and anxieties. The programme has been tried and tested and has helped thousands of people with different issues to change their lives.
What makes the thrive programme unique?
It is not therapy. The Thrive Programme does not focus on your symptoms. We will be addressing the core issues that cause your symptoms. This is one of the main reasons why The Thrive Programme is so successful. In addition, the course focuses on your present and future, not your past. It is an educational training programme following a structured approach. You will gain new insights, skills and resources, and will also practice techniques to change the way you think. I will be there to guide you and support you as you learn. Additional "homework" continues outside of the sessions. This requires you to be responsible for your progress through the course. It's is an essential part of the programme.
How long is the course?
The Thrive Programme is a six-session training programme. Each session is approximately one hour in duration. It's usually delivered over a six week period i.e. one session per week for six weeks. However, depending on your personal situation, this may be adapted.
how is it delivered?
If you're located in Sydney, then sessions can be done face-to-face in my office. If you're anywhere else in Australia, I use an online platform that is very reliable and secure. The experience will be the same as if we were sitting together in the same room.
As part of The Thrive Programme, participants receive a comprehensive book that provides much of the theory behind The Thrive Programme and includes links to the scientific evidence.
