What is The Thrive Programme?
The Thrive Programme® is a life-changing course that empowers you with the skills, insights and resources you need to take control of your life, bring out the very best of yourself and enjoy everything that you do.
The Thrive Programme® is a totally fresh approach to mental wellbeing. It is suitable for young people and adults. Through the sessions and structured study, you will gain insights and awareness to start taking control of your thinking, happiness and health. You’ll master the skills and resources you need so that you won’t get anxious, stressed or depressed - whatever bumps in the road you encounter.
It is NOT therapy. It’s an evidence-based, easy-to-understand educational programme.
No matter who you are, where you are from or what your past is, everyone has the ability to realise their potential and live the life they want. Anxiety and low confidence will become a thing of the past, permanently replaced with a desire and capability to thrive.
If you are already suffering from depression or other mental health concerns such as phobias, generalised anxiety, stress, confidence issues, or social anxiety, then The Thrive Programme® is a proven and effective way to overcome these for good, even if you have found other forms of therapy or treatment to be ineffective for you.
How was The Thrive Programme created?
In 2005 Rob Kelly – a psychotherapist with over 25 years clinical experience – began testing a variety of simple psychological interventions he had been developing, with the help of a researcher at Cambridge University.
He identified the cognitive and emotional skills that thriving people have compared to non-thriving people. He did this research after working across a number of different therapies during his clinical experience.
As a much more effective way to overcome psychological problems, The Thrive Programme® was born.
Thousands of people have been through the programme. You can read their testimonials here. Some have overcome symptoms that have held them back for years. Others have simply wanted to feel “alive” rather than feeling like their life is a treadmill without a control button.
