POSITIVE PEOPLE HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT

People who are thriving are more likely to be resilient, confident, healthier, happier, and more successful

They won’t simply be satisfied and productive. They’ll be energised, confident to speak up and contribute positively, and able to respond to change and setbacks with emotional intelligence.

Teams and organisations can benefit in terms of higher performance, increased productivity, an improved culture, better relationships, more engagement, and reduced stress leave.

The Thrive Programme will deal with some of these typical conversations happening at the workplace bubbler:

  • “I'm just stressed all the time. I don't feel there's any end in sight."

  • “I’m worried about lots of things lately. I don’t know why and I’m not sure what I can do about it.”

  • "I wonder when the next round of change is happening? I'm not sure I can cope with this all over again."

  • "I've got an important presentation next week and with everything that's going on in my life right now, I'm already feeling stressed by the thought of it."

  • I'm glad my role wasn't made redundant but I feel overwhelmed with how my role has been changed."

  • Having difficult conversations with anyone - team, clients, anyone - is hard. I'm not very good at it so it usually doesn't end as well as I intended."

  • "I'm a perfectionist and end up doing a lot more work than I probably need to - but I'm drowning."

Workplace Wellness

According to a 2018 research survey conducted by The Wellbeing Lab and the Australian Human Resources Institute, 44% of your workplace are “just getting by” or “really struggling” when it comes to workplace wellness.

Learn the skills that thriving people use every day

Any organisation, small to large, will benefit from supporting the psychological wellbeing of their workforce.

We teach participants to develop a greater sense of power and control over their experiences - both in work and life as a whole. As they progress through the programme, they start to flourish and grow, boosting performance in a sustainable way.

The Thrive Programme addresses the fundamental needs of each person's mental wellbeing, helping to build and strengthen psychological foundations to ensure they remain fully entrenched, no matter what storms they have to endure.

Organisations investing in The Thrive Programme ensure they:

  • create a workforce that has the emotional intelligence, knowledge and resources to respond to any situation, with true grit and power

  • address existing mental health issues with knowledge and resources which are incredibly empowering, long lasting, and all pervasive

  • give their workforce unfathomable depths of psychological power and strength, to help them overcome the most difficult of circumstances, both personal and professional.

In today's fast-paced and competitive world, having employees that are engaged and thriving is critical. The evidence to support this is much sharper and more compelling than ever.

“Thriving is about optimising a person’s emotional and cognitive skills to the point where they are not just resilient, but they are actively engaged in living a lifestyle where they create minimal stress and anxiety, and instead positively flourish.”

Rob Kelly, Creator of The Thrive Programme

WHAT IS THE THRIVE PROGRAMME in Business?

The Thrive Programme, is an evidence-based and innovative training programme that has given thousands of individuals new skills and knowledge to successfully manage their mindset in today’s busy, and often stressful, world.

The aim of the programme is to teach individuals within organisations strong cognitive and emotional skills so they can live their professional and personal lives to the full. When a person's psychological foundations are strong, they don't create stress and anxiety. They are robust to whatever life throws at them.

The Thrive Programme enables individuals to take positive steps forward rather than being stuck in neutral, or even worse, a downward spiral. They become active participants in shaping their own wellbeing because they develop an understanding of why and how they respond to experiences the way they do, and what steps they need to take to develop and maintain a thriving mindset.

“The most thought provoking, powerful and empowering programme I have ever participated in.”

John Barry, Group Human Resources Director - Australian Medical Association

Flexible delivery to suit everyone

Group training

Integrated into your health and wellness strategy, The Thrive Programme in Business can be delivered face-to-face to small groups of participants, live via the internet, or a combination of face-to-face / internet.

We would work with you to determine the most effective and efficacious way to deliver approximately 12-16 hours of content.

Short sessions, half day sessions … spread over weeks / months.

Additional 1-2-1 coaching sessions are incorporated into group training.

“There are many highlights for me throughout the program. I cannot wait to revisit the readings and although it is intended for business purposes, it has actually changed the core of me as a person and it’s something that I can apply in my personal life.”

Lia Tjandrahadi, Finance Manager

1-2-1 training

The Wellbeing Lab 2018 Workplace Survey (The Wellbeing Lab and the Australian Human Resources Institute) tells us that 8% of employees are really struggling. In an organisation with 75 employees, that’s 6 employees.

They may be leaders or non-leaders.

While most organisations offer Employee Assistance Programmes, many employees are not aware of the services offered, worry about confidentiality, or think their issues are not significant enough.

The Thrive Programme is an upstream alternative. As an educational programme, employees will learn new skills they can apply both personally and in the workplace.

If you have individuals in your organisation that you know are struggling, or you believe they may be struggling due to their behaviours or absences, then offering them an educational alternative is a fresh approach. Confidentiality is assured.

The Thrive Programme 1-2-1 training is 8 x 1 hour sessions conducted over an 8-week period. Sessions can be conducted face-to-face or live over the internet (or a combination of both). Additional resources and support are included throughout the programme and following completion at 3 / 6 / 12 months intervals.

“I have learnt that I have control over my life and how I respond. I have a much stronger belief in myself and my ability to take things where I want. And I have more confidence in my decisions and how I handle myself in various situations. The Thrive Programme opens up a whole new way of thinking and shows you how much control you can have and how your old ways of thinking are so unhelpful and not useful at all.”

“I want to say thank you. I feel like I’ve found myself again.”
